Just a quick note: Despaxo is a very useful sales and marketing tool with many options but of course, you have to learn how to use the options to get the most out of Despaxo. It is straight forward. I hope you can follow along with these instructions. Of course, feel free to experiment. Now, go to the Demo Site:

Firstly, once you are in the demo site, you will see a selection of Business examples. I clicked on “Brick Oven Pizza (BOP)”, then in the right hand corner menu I selected “My Catalogs”. Once in, you will see 4 main options. The catalogue represents the complete menu options available at BOP. Now, for the purposes of this presentation, let’s add another option within the Catalog.

1. Click + Add New
2. Then, find your best picture and drag and drop the image. This will be your main Catalog image so it should best reflect the type of catalog. Mine is Dessert, so I am adding a picture of a selection of desserts.
3. Now, if you want to set your times where these desserts are available, click on Advanced Options.
4. Easy, just set your times at will.
5. Once you are done, click Update and you will now see that you have created a new Catalog.

Next Step – Adding Products to your Catalog

1. Click on the + add and select your best picture that represents your product you are selling.
2. I selected a piece of Apple Pie for this example. You can add up to 6 images here. I only added one.
3. Now, name your product. Mine is Apple Pie
4. Now I have to set the price. My price is 5 USD
5. As to Tags, these help people who search for items identify yours. So, think about this one. I will use: Fresh Pie, Apple, Home Made. You of course can be more creative. When adding Tags, you must input one at a time. Once you are done, click and the Description box will open.
6. Here is your chance to sell your item. I will write my description of this home made apple pie here. Now, I am leaving out the “whipped cream” as i want to add it on after as a paid addition. Once you are done with the description, click on ‘Create’ and this will launch your product. You can immediately see it in the catalog.

Editing your Category Items

Now, I have seen my Apple Pie item in my Desserts Category I want to make some additions.
1. Click on the 3 vertical dots – the menu, and press update.
2. Click on ‘show product options’, and click on ‘Add new’.
3. Now, since I want to add extra options to my Apple Pie, I will add the title “Extras” in the name box.
4. For quantity, I shall put 1. I am planning on giving 1 scoop of whipping cream per pie, but it’s optional.
5. Since I need a response on whether the customer wants whipping cream on their pie order, I am marking ‘required’, and ‘extra price’ as i want to charge $1 for the cream.
6. Now, Add new for the next window, and Click “use Custom Option”. You will now need to label your ‘extra’ item. Since mine is whipping cream, in the title field I shall write “Chantilly Whipping Cream”.
7. The price for the cream is 1 USD. Click Add. Now Update.
8. Now, to make sure your item is part of your product at the catalog level, click update again.
9. The extra will be there, as part of your product.

Just a note here: for the Demo only, you will not see the ‘Extras’ appear in your menu. This is because the necessary database to allow this would be prohibitive. We prefer to spend our resources on building cool stuff. Hope you understand.
